Down to the wire

The contents of the house are truckin' merrily to Seattle, and we fly out tomorrow. All that is left to do is ship a couple of things first thing (FedEx Kinkos opens at 6:00am!), return the rental car and get on the plane.

As a sign that it is a good thing I am starting work Friday, here are the last 3 news articles I read on MSNBC:

Man, I need a day job.

I'm very happy to learn that you're back at Microsoft, Craig. I hope to run into you to say hello, once I manage to get back to Microsoft myself (still in the process). Email me, and I'll give you my doings in the last few years. kramer_ae@hotmail.com

(You get three guesses as to what ae stands for. :)).

T-95 Hours!

Our house is packed, the various computers and electronics are being crated as I type, and I just shutdown Datacenter 2.0 (first time its been offline in 11 months). In 95 hours, I'll be showing up for my first day of work. Yikes!!

T-Minus 19 Days

If all goes according to plan, we'll close on our house this week, and I'll spend a week in the Sunny Seattle area getting the house ready for my family to arrive on the 29th - and then I'm off to work on the 30th. T-19 days and counting until I am back where I started 14 years ago!
